How far in advance can reservations be made?

You can do it at least 24 hours in advance (subject to availability of equipment) and transferring 50% of the amount of the deposit equivalent to 2 days of rental. If you need last minute reservations, write us at soporte@chitarental.com or via Whatsapp at +505 8864 4150, we are here to help you. Remember that you can make your reservation from the website, and we will contact you immediately.

Can I book more than one week in advance?

Yes, in case you need reservations one week or more in advance you will have to transfer 50% of the amount of the deposit equivalent to 2 days of rental. Clients in the “Roar” category are not required to transfer a deposit for reservations made more than one week in advance.

What happens if I cancel my reservation in advance?

If you have already transferred 50% of the deposit, and you cancel less than 3 working days (Monday to Saturday) in advance, you will be refunded half of the amount transferred as a reservation fee, otherwise you will be refunded the full amount.

Is there a minimum rental amount?

Yes, the minimum amount to rent equipment is US$30 (thirty US dollars), for lower amounts it is not possible to rent.

What is the payment process?

The total amount of the lease is paid upon delivery of the equipment. You can make a bank transfer or pay in cash. Credit and debit card payments are momentarily out of service.

What is the leasing process?

The first thing to do is to check the availability of the equipment to be rented on our website www.chitarental.com or via Whatsapp at +505 8864 4150. Once you have checked availability you can add this equipment to your shopping cart, fill in your contact information, delivery address and rental date. Then you must finalize your reservation, we will contact you immediately (within 5 hours on weekdays from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm) to confirm your reservation.

Once the reservation is confirmed, a rental contract will be drawn up detailing the equipment, rental dates and other considerations. To make this contract we will need a copy of your Nicaraguan identity card, in case you are a foreigner we will need a copy of your passport or residency card (a photograph of these documents is also valid). We will request this information only once from new customers. This contract signing process is carried out during the delivery of the equipment.

Can I extend the rental period?

Yes, as long as you notify us at least one business day in advance, and confirmation will be subject to equipment availability. The price for rental extension has no additional charges, the initial contracting prices are maintained.

If I am a foreigner, can I rent equipment?

Yes, the only thing we will need from you is a copy of your passport or residency card.

Do I have to leave a deposit?

Yes, for new clients it is necessary to leave a deposit equivalent to 2 days of rent. For customers in the “Roar” category, no deposit is required to make an equipment rental effective. The minimum deposit amount is US$50 (fifty US dollars).

What happens if I damage or lose the rented equipment?

You will have to pay for the repair or replacement of the equipment. The form and amount of payment for repair or replacement is detailed in the lease agreement.

Do you have monthly rates for agencies or professionals?

Yes, we have monthly rates and promotions for agencies and professionals, in addition to discounts for amount and recurrence of purchases. You can write to us at soporte@chitarental.com or via Whatsapp at +505 8864 4150 asking for monthly rates.

Do you deliver the equipment?

Yes, we deliver and pick up the equipment. There is no additional charge for this as long as the delivery or pick up is within the municipality of Managua. We deliver throughout Nicaragua for an additional fee.

Do you deliver equipment in Costa Rica?

Yes, we can make deliveries in Costa Rica, for this it is necessary to reserve the equipment at least 15 days in advance.

Can I take rented equipment out of the country?

Yes, you can take the equipment out of Nicaragua without any problem with prior approval from Chita Rental.
